Leadership Giving

Every SECA donation makes a difference for the participating human service and environmental charities. However, employees can choose to be leaders among donors through leadership givers.

It’s easy – the value of just an hour or half-hour of your time every month makes you a leadership giver. If you donate via ESS, the minimum leadership giving amounts will be automatically calculated.  Or, to manually calculate your exact amount, multiply your annual salary by .006 (for Governor's Circle) or .003 (for Gold Giver) and divide the result by 26 pays.

This chart shows the estimated leadership giving amounts for your bi-weekly salary (26 annual pays).

In addition to the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference, leadership givers will receive the following recognition: 

GOVERNOR’S CIRCLE GIVER - Gift equal to 1 hour of pay per month (.6% of salary)

  • Public recognition on SECA’s website and/or Employee Bulletin Board
  • Letter of recognition from Pennsylvania's Governor 

GOLD GIVER - Gift equal to ½ hour of pay per month (.3% of salary)

  • Public recognition on SECA’s website and/or Employee Bulletin Board 

*Leadership giving status is based on percentage of salary at the time of the pledge.  Changes in compensation occurring between the time of the pledge and the time that leadership giver acknowledgement items are distributed may affect leadership giving status.
